An Invitation to Know Jesus
I love Jesus.
If you do not know Jesus, or if you're unsure what it really means to know Him, I would like to invite you to consider something with an open heart: Jesus is real, and He loves you more than you can imagine.
Life is filled with important decisions, and perhaps the most important question we will ever face is whether God exists and whether eternity is real. Many people spend years searching for answers, looking for evidence, and wrestling with questions about faith.
If you are looking for evidence, I encourage you to explore resources from Ken Ham and Answers in Genesis. Their ministry presents scientific, historical, and biblical perspectives that have helped many people examine the claims of Christianity for themselves. Rather than simply taking someone else's word for it, I encourage you to investigate and seek the truth personally.

More than anything, though, knowing Jesus is about more than evidence. It is about relationship.
When you truly know Jesus, you discover a peace that reaches into the deepest parts of your soul. It is the assurance that you are loved, seen, forgiven, and cared for. It is a peace that remains steady even when life becomes uncertain.
For those who already know Jesus, I ask that you take a moment to pray. We are living in significant times, and we never know when a simple act of faith, a prayer, or a conversation might impact someone's eternity.
For those who are still unsure, I want to invite you to keep reading.
If you are not absolutely certain where you would spend eternity, would you be willing to pray a simple prayer? Not because the words themselves have power, but because God hears the sincere cry of every heart that seeks Him.
You might pray something like this:
"Dear God, please help me. I want to know, before I leave this page, that I belong to You. I want to know that I am saved.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask You to open my mind and soften my heart. Today, I choose to believe that Jesus is real, that He loves me, and that He died and rose again so that I could have eternal life. I know I have sinned and fallen short of Your best for me. Please forgive me for my sins and wash me clean. Thank You for making a way for me to be saved. Jesus, I invite You into my life. Teach me to know You, follow You, and trust You. Thank You for Your love, Your grace, and Your forgiveness. Amen."
If you prayed that prayer and sincerely meant it, I want you to know that God heard you.

Once you receive a Bible, start with the Gospel of John. Read slowly. Read prayerfully. Read often. As you read, simply ask God to help you understand. You do not need special words or religious language. Just talk to Him honestly and openly. Tell Him what is on your heart. Ask your questions. Share your struggles. Ask for His help.
One of the most beloved verses in the Bible is John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
That promise changed my life.
When I was about nine years old, my grandmother was caring for my brother and me. I remember kneeling beside a dining room chair as she gently shared the story of Jesus with me. At that age, I did not fully understand everything. What I did understand was that I felt alone. I was the new kid at school. I had very few friends, and many of the children were unkind. I knew about God because we attended church, but I did not yet know Him personally. My grandmother told me that Jesus wanted to be my friend for life. She explained that I needed to believe He died for my sins and rose again, ask forgiveness for the wrong things I had done, and invite Him into my heart.
So I did. And in that moment, something changed. A deep sense of joy and peace filled my heart. My circumstances did not immediately change, but I was no longer alone. That day marked the beginning of my relationship with Jesus, a relationship that has carried me through every season of life since.
As I have grown older, studied Scripture, spent time in prayer, and learned from wise men and women of faith, my understanding has deepened. Verses like Galatians 2:20 have shown me that following Jesus is not simply a decision we make once. It becomes a daily relationship, an ever-present awareness of His love, guidance, and presence in our lives.
What began as a simple childlike faith became the foundation of everything.
And one of the greatest joys of my life is seeing others discover that same hope, that same peace, and that same relationship with Jesus. My prayer is that you will experience it too.
